Welcome to this year’s Countdown to Halloween!
As we celebrate 10 years of this website, you may have noticed that the scope of “classic” horror has grown. Movies that weren’t considered classics in 2016 have become classics now. There’s always a line in the middle, though, that separates the old from the new.
Looking into the future, I’m planning on crossing that line more often. It might be scary for some of you who don’t care for “modern” horror but with the help of some incredible guests, we’re going to attempt to convince you that you’re missing some great movies by hiding in the comfort of the dark shadows.
And what about the “kids” of today who may never have seen a black-and-white movie? You’d be surprised how modern some of those movies really were. If you say you’re a fan of horror, you owe it to yourself to at least test the waters of the classics.
